Kara J Hatten is the daughter of Dave and Traci Hatten of Wheatland, Wyoming.  Kara has also been active and successful in the cutting pen since she was 8 years old.  Some of her accomplishments in cutting include; placing 5th in the youth and 15th in the 2000 Limit Rider at the Western National Championships,  qualifier for the World Finals in the Junior Youth, Wyoming State High School Rodeo Association girl’s cutting champion and NHSFR qualifier.  Kara is also a member of 4-H and a past president, secretary and reporter of the Wheatland FFA chapter.  Kara plans on attending Casper college in the fall to study art and pursue a teaching degree in art education.  Kara is also planning to study equine massage and chiropractics.
